Chased you out of the city showed up in the middle of the night at your secluded cabin in the woods, in the middle of a horrific snow storm, half frozen to death? It's been a while since I've uploaded any content, and I found this gem from before I paused working on Through the Woods! This song would be in the next episode, which took place in the world.

Through the Woods is a third-person Norse horror adventure set in a forest on the western shores of Norway that tells the story of a mother and her missing son. Through reactive narration, the player experiences the mother’s re-telling of the events surrounding her son’s disappearance. Players follow the path of a terrified woman who has forced herself to enter this terrible place for the sole purpose of finding her son, in a setting heavily influenced by Norse mythology and Norwegian folk tales. With Through the Woods, Antagonist have captured the feeling of the forest as they saw it as children, with all the fear and mystery that comes from roaming through it alone. This is coupled with a powerful story and high quality sound design, which in the darkness of the forest becomes a core mechanic. Through the Woods is a profound experience that directly delivers the feelings of loneliness and loss in a terrifying place.Show More. All is good in this Norse mythology horror game until the son is taken. As his mom, you must give chase and find out why he was taken. As you journey, you'll come across several creatures that go bump in the night, while piecing together the story through narration and the collectibles throughtout the game.

The creatures were done well and each presented their own unique way to get past them. Seeing as how you are only equipped with a flashlight once the sun goes down. I wouldn't say this is a horror game trying to scare you every which way but more of a creepy thriller. It isn't a long game which is great if you're looking for a shorter, enjoyable experience. Only negative I found was sometimes the game would freeze a short bit and then jump when things happened. I found that quitting to menu and continuing the checkpoint fixed it.
Other than that, if you enjoy a bit of Norse mythology, give it a shot. What a gem.Norse Mythology, solid graphics, very easy controls, great story, well timed sounds & you get the kind of solid single player story/narrative driven game that Xbox One is so lacking. Found a few graphical flaws but none that break the game or gameplay & those were the reason for the 4 of 5 rating. This game deserves a long hard look from gamers. Please do not miss out on this solid game.Thanks,SPP.
